Here a photography site that has a little edge to it.
The clean page that allows the image to be the main point and allow you to become trap by the visual aspect  that the photographer work is playing out on the web.

The moving slideshow doesn't allow the viewer to become bored and it defeats that fill of everything being static. The slide show is very different from others that I have seen on the web.

The webpages have a wonderful fill as well. The images on the pages either moves left to right with the ability to control the image direction by the small thumbnails at the bottom.

Over all I find that this is a site that has a lot of hope for me to get some really good ideals from.

Here is a site that really interest me in how simple and even handed the site comes across.

The menu bar on the left and his name creates a natural border around the slide show which is his opening page to his website.

From there is the drop down menu that allow you to goto other parts of his website without losing where you are at and you are just one click away from getting back to the index page.

The use of a slide show on each page really makes you fill that the page is keeping the audiences engage with the site and it has a real delicate and created fill .

Each page has the same fill and look so that you know that you can navigate around and not get to loss.

Here is a photography website that even thou it has a lot going on the choice of black makes it fill well to say it nicely dull. The use of the site is at first a little confusing and not at all user friendly at first. The side menu don't quite work for me its a little to big and doesn't quite fit the way the layout flows it fills as if I am going sideways and then up and down.

Great visuals but it doesn't seem that they are presented in a way that makes me go these are great shots I want to go there.

Not a site that I would model my site after

Heres a clean put different site that a photographer did. It chalk full of code and visual effect to engage the audiences  and give it a lively fill.

The rollovers once again is really used well and each image is visually appealing.

It really a very heavy image dominate site that for me really works

Here is another site that is fresh and clean the use of color makes it feel creative and not in your face look at me.

I find that the color or lack of color and uses of rollover is a great ideal and one to use in my own design process when looking at doing my own website for class or even in the future.

Even thou its a photography website and its loaded with visual appeal it does not feel over whelming as to how the are place.

The flow from page to page is deftly something to keep in mind when one is viewing how to keep thing the same so the viewer don't get lost

I have been looking for sites that would help me to make a better website for myself here is one that was cool and different to how it presented itself. The opening splash page is a continues slide show that makes it feel interactive for the viewer.

The menu bar on the side makes it feel fresh and new and not static like most website can be

I been looking for a clean photography website and came across   his site called NIF Magazine

First and for most the site is really visual and clean. It allows for your eyes to roam around and not get lost. The roll overs are really sharp as to having and image and the image react to the roll over this to me is really a nice touch.

The stacking order with the images is also well done, the site gives the fill that it is maintain and kept up to date which gives it the new and fresh look.

The menu bar which is also interactive allows the visitor to explore the site and not get over loaded and feel like the site is disjoined from the message that they are trying to get out.

Over all this is a site that should be looked at and booked mark from web designers and those just looking to create a website for photographers

This site is really put together in a fun and friendly fashion not a lot of bang but the site is clean and organized so the person can move around the site and know where they are at.

The simple design is sometime over looked and forgotten in favor of more complicated ideals that sometime just confuse the person visiting the site.

Even thou the site deals with nudes its just feel like it being dealt in an art manner.

The color of the site deals well with what they are trying to covey and the art on the home page feels right.

The roll over are simple but once again effect

Sometimes there is something to just keeping it simple and to the point

Now here is a true interactive site that needs to be explored for up and coming web designers.
The site is really engrossing and visual at the same time with mass amount of interconnecting pages and a truly thought out home page.

The roll over are really are really nice and work on a single pass over. Unlike some roll over you know that they are active once you hover over them.

The Only thing that I would have liked to have seen done on this website is for it to let you know where your at to what you have visited

So here you go to those who are waiting for the new release of the Hunger Games
remember the Capitol is waiting

Now here is a site that is both fun and educational.

At first this gaming site looks to be mundane but if you look at it closer you see a lot of work that has been put into it.

The interface is really clean and fluid to the design of the webpage it also moves you around with very little effort.

The information and reset to the game are pretty cute and workable.

The down side is there is no information about how to navigate around the system so pretty much it is a close system that the user will just have to know how to work

The site name is below

So all you gamers that want to build a site that users would visit check this site out

Enjoy

Well here is a site for the sport minded person who is looking for Soccer or football Euro style.

http://www.eurosport.com/

The site is very universal to multiple  languages of the world.
First off the site opens to a rich and colorful site that allows you to choose the team and language so that you can follow your favorite team and know what they are doing.

Once you choose your league the site puts up a sidebar of other local team in your area really nice or not depending on your taste.

The pages are very clean and really fluid in how they respond on the page.

The only thing is when you leave the home page to look at other page.
There are some changes to how it looks which could lead to some confusion as to are you on the same website or have you moved on to some where else.

Because of the logo placement it does work when you leave the home page and all the other pages do have the same feel and look.

The site for the most part does give a very visual and clean look. It also allow you to move around quickly and effortless with out losing whee you are at on the pages after the home page.

So please enjoy

Today I looked at gaming website to see how they might look and feel and boy are they pushing the envelope of web functionally and and ideals

A website that is both visual and stunning:
https://www.destinyplanetview.com

This website first off forces the user to use Chrome in order to view the site which to some this might not be a user friendly  thing to do since as web designers you are looking to work across multiple platforms.

But after that you will be truly pleased  at the graphics and feel of the site and how it functions.

First off this is pretty much a visual and auditory site that really hook you right into what they are about a gaming site that makes you feel and want the product that they are trying to push.

The feel of the menu bar and its placement really allow the user to explore and move around the site with very little difficulty.

Something else to like about the site is the ability to be viewed by multiple languages which is really some forward thinking as to who your audiences might be and who might come across this site.

So web friends here is another site that should make you think about how website are made

Now here is a fun site that really needs to be looked at.

http://followbubble.com/

When you first look at it you would think that a five year made this site but upon further investigation you start to see a real smart and slick website that really pulls you in.

Once you hit about us you are greeted with a beautiful and rich visual web page that is night and day different from the opening web page.
Yes the page is white but the images that are the roll overs are rich enough to draw your eye to what is the most important part of the web page.

Once you start clicking thru the pages it has a really different fill, and the rich color are really very pleasing to the eye. There is a lot of functionally to the web page that really works well with this website.

So go on and check it out.

Wednesday, September 17, 2014

Well I started to compare two sites of the same kind of clientele and I really started to exam  which site be formed better the two sites are.

1.http://www.audiusa.com
2.http://www.volvocars.com

What do I like about the volvo site over the audi is that when you click on something it feels as if you never left so you are still what I would like to call a half click away and it feels more streamlined where the Audi site feels like well none could call it simple and not visual as one would expect.

The Audi site seems to have so major flaws that should be address like where its Logo is placed on the page and when you go there it feels know different than if I was buying Sneakers.

Now I am not into either car dealers but the site from Volvo site has a more functionally to it more than the other site .

The Visual are also more appealing on the one site than the other so check it out

Volvo Genration XC-90

Well Volvo has push the edge of selling there line of new vehicle the XC-90 with  a new all visual web page that pretty much as make it fill like a car commercial on TV instead of a simple static web page.

Now when one examine the page it loads pretty quickly and you are immediately hit with the visual aspect of the carmaker and what they are trying to sell and who the target audiences they are trying to reach.

The web page fills original and very well done and the flow of the navigation from one page to the next works well.

The site address is http://www.volvocars.com/intl/all-cars/all-new-volvo-xc90/Pages/default.aspx#/firstedition

As far as sites goes it pretty much is really just visual with little else but the site does convey that Volvo is going out and rebranding itself with this kind of web page design and effort.

Visual Appeal

My Professor, assign us to go out onto the web and find websites that we could learn from and figure out what works and what doesn't so that when we start to build our own website we could have some kind of model to follow.

The first site that I came across is http://www.awwwards.com/ this site offers some new and clean cutting edge work that needs to be examined for up and coming web designers.

I found this site to have a major visual impact for me and it also allow me to examine multiple sites that are visual as well as textual in nature.

I also like the four areas of grading that could allow you to choose which site might appeal to your particular area of study and interest was very helpful and informative for me to choose from many
different sites that have been posted on this site.

So follow classmate and blogger hopefully you will enjoy this site and hopefully it will be of some help.
